Phuoc An Depot has just added a notable name to its equipment fleet: the SANY SRSC45E3 electric reach stacker. This is a new-generation heavy-duty container handler – 45-tonne lifting capacity, 5-high stacking, running fully on lithium batteries, with no fumes and no noise.
Reach stacker – the most important “arm” of a depot

At any container depot, the reach stacker is the machine that sets the pace. It handles nearly all the heavy work in the yard: lifting containers on and off tractor-trailers, stacking them in the yard, shuffling positions, and pulling a box out of the row for inspection or stuffing.
A powerful, reliable reach stacker means trucks do not queue at the depot, containers are stacked more tightly so the yard holds more, and empty release – return schedules run on time. Conversely, one underpowered or breakdown-prone machine is enough to jam the whole yard.
Specifications of the SANY SRSC45E3 at Phuoc An Depot

This is the fully electric version, brand new, manufactured in 2025. Key specifications:
· Maximum lifting capacity: 45 tonnes – enough for the heaviest containers in normal operation.
· Stacking: 5 containers high.
· Power source: lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, 507 kWh capacity.
· Motor: PMSM e-motor, 171/310 kW output.
· Drive axle: SANY DWY-510.
· Charging port: CCS2 standard.
· Connectivity: Root Cloud remote monitoring system.
The LFP battery is a choice geared towards safety and cycle life – a good fit for equipment running multiple shifts in the yard. The CCS2 charging port allows shared charging infrastructure under a widely adopted standard, with no lock-in to a proprietary system.
SANY SDCE90K7E2 empty container handler – reinforcing empty-box operations

Alongside the reach stacker, Phuoc An Depot has also invested in a SANY SDCE90K7E2 electric empty container handler – a machine dedicated to releasing, receiving and stacking empty containers. It is likewise fully electric, brand new, manufactured in 2026.
· Lifting capacity: 9 tonnes – exactly the working range for empty containers.
· Stacking: 7 empty containers high, making full use of yard height.
· Machine weight: 41 tonnes.
· Power source: CATL battery, Lvcon e-motor.
· Drive axle: SANY WF0476A0-9.
· Tyres: 14.00-24 28PR.
· Charging port: CCS2 standard – shares charging infrastructure with the reach stacker.
· Connectivity: Root Cloud remote monitoring, with a surround-view camera system.
Splitting empty handling onto a dedicated machine lets the reach stacker focus on laden containers while empty operations run in parallel – so the yard does not bottleneck at peak hours. Both machines share the CCS2 standard and a 300 kW dual-gun charger, so multi-shift operation never waits on charging.
What do customers get?

· Faster turnaround: new equipment, high capacity, few minor breakdowns – trucks turn around quickly and drivers wait less.
· Cleaner and quieter: electric machines produce no diesel fumes and far less noise – better for the yard and the surrounding area.
· Data you can reconcile: Root Cloud monitors equipment condition in real time, enabling proactive maintenance instead of repair after failure.
· A stronger ESG profile for cargo owners: direct emissions cut at the handling stage – a figure shipping lines and exporters increasingly track.
